Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges
To be eligible for a return or exchange:
- Item must be unused and in its original packaging
- Return request must be made within 15 days of delivery
- Original proof of purchase is required
- Certain products are excluded (see below)
Non-Returnable Items
For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
- Barbecues and Cadac accessories (for hygiene reasons)
- Camping tableware that has been unpackaged
- Personalized or custom-ordered camping equipment
- Items marked as “Final Sale”
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Step 1: Contact Our Customer Service
Email us at [email protected] with your order number and details about the product you’d like to return or exchange. Use the following template:

Step 2: Receive Return Authorization
Our team will respond within 1-2 business days with:
- Return authorization number
- Shipping instructions
- Return address (our Portland warehouse at 1663 Heron Way)
Step 3: Package and Ship Your Return
Securely package the item in its original packaging and include all accessories. Affix the return label we provide and ship via your preferred carrier.
Step 4: Processing Your Return
Once received at our warehouse, we will inspect the item within 3-5 business days and notify you about the status of your refund or exchange.
Refund Information
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect your return. Note that:
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error
- Refunds will be issued via the original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
Exchange Process
For exchanges of camping tents, awnings, or other equipment:
- Follow the same return process above
- Specify the replacement item you’d like in your email
- We’ll ship the new item once the return is received and approved
- Any price differences will be charged/refunded accordingly
Expedited Exchanges for Time-Sensitive Camping Gear
For urgent needs like replacement awning accessories before a trip, contact us immediately after shipping your return. We may be able to arrange advance shipment with pre-authorization on your payment method.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your camping equipment arrives damaged or defective:
- Contact us within 3 days of delivery
- Include photos of the damage/defect
- We’ll arrange a free return label and expedited replacement
International Returns
For customers outside the US (excluding certain Asian regions):
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
- Customs forms must be marked as “Returned Goods” to avoid duties
- Refunds will be issued in USD
